MARS ATTACKS!!!  A Tim Burton live action film that featured animated characters as stars.  This figure represents the first prototype Burton commissioned DeCarlo Studio to do in the earliest stages of the film.  The glass dome proved to be a major filming problem because it "parabolacized", or revealed everything around it.  This directly led to the decision to create the characters using computer graphics instead.
