I have been very fortunate to be associated with two fine institutions of higher learning and cultural development, the Academy of Art University, since 2010 and the California College of the Arts since 2017 where I teach stop motion animation, sculpture for animation, set design and fabrication in addition to my work with graduate students preparing them for their Master's Degree and life beyond academia.

I really do love teaching.  I have been so very impressed with the many great minds, and talents I have encountered while practicing this wonderful work, like this sample from Bruna Berford, former student and now an animator at PIXAR.

Annie Wong is a former student who is now a colleague at the Academy of Art University and also at University of California State, Hayward where she teaches animation, of all description.  This film, "Coppelia, the Girl with the Porcelain Eyes" was her graduate thesis project.

Julian Teo, while he was my student, continuously turned in exceptionally witty work that also expressed the highest standards in animation production.  Mr. Teo is now employed by the PIXAR Animation Studios as one of their animators.
